He may well be a fan but he's got a real problem with his investment to date(£40M plus as I recall)in that he can't recoup it as things stand. Plus he's got to put a lot more in to fund the gate refurb which is basically dead money, and keep bankrolling the team.

It's a new start alright and I said I hoped you enjoy your rebuilding seasons in Div 1.
As to the far east excursion, this info came from within AG and why should I doubt it?
It's very easy to see why SL would want to offload a chunk of his risk and recoup a lump of his dead money by selling shares to another investor. Every investor has to look at an exit plan.He would also look to obtain further equity finance for investing in his project.
Due to his gamble failing the chances of him recouping his investment look pretty slim. He can't exit now without losing all and/or busting the club. He can keep things ticking over for now but his problem doesn't go away.
