Nick Powell

No rumour but seeing as Malky and Sir Alex have this close relationship, how about a season long loan for young Powell?

Obviously signed by Utd from Crewe as one for the future, he figured in a few games earlier in season especially Capital one cup then hardly involved.

This is quite typical of Fergie's planning when you think of players like Jonny Evans, Cleverley, Welbeck etc so maybe Powell maybe the next young future star Fergie is prepared to send out. C'mon Malky get on the dog n bone and use your Scottish charm :malky:

Someone mentioned his name to me today, and it's not such a bad shout.

Have to disagree with you here Cwmann Bluebird, i believe he would be a poor signing and we should defintely go for more proven premier league players i.e yossi benayoun, jordi gomez(ex jack i know) or even try and lure Aron Ramsey back!

that sounds horrid. Ramsey fair enough. benayoun and gomez is about 4/5 years too late. talented youngsters is the way forward. Powell is a good shout though

Nick Powell played against Wigan and scored but he played class and controlled the midfield. I would take a punt.

He probably isn't ready for the Premier League yet, though his potential is undoubted.
