Witts - Bloobird quality

Our midfield three have been super recently. They will be next year as well. We will probably buy another central midfielder as well. However Witts is also a terrific player and without his massive contribution this year when he often ran the show we would not be a Premier club. Malky had always rated him and he is not a fool. Witts will have an integral role next year and we need players who can hold the ball and not give it away. Bet he will be in th starting line up from the start next year.

whitts is a great player yes, sadly the only consistant threat he's produced this season has been his set piece delivery,
He will start strong next season and we will see how much he has left in the tank hopefully he can be pushed forward, in a steve gerrard, frank lampard role

For me he has totally lost his confidence over the last couple of months - dont know why ( unless he has some off the pitch problem? ).

I agree however he has been great over the past seasons for us so hopefully he will be back to his best, also you will get more time on the ball in the Premier, he will be there next year

Whitts is a thoroughbred.

Malky flogged him to death again this year but this year we have alternatives. IMO its not the physical aspect of the season but the mental. He dictates the pace, direction and tactics in his QB role and the pressure of that week in week out weighs him down.

Good summer, feet up and few beers he will be back firing. 8 games less for him next year !!
