What lengths have you gone to ..................

Have made sure that I never take holidays when matches are being played, make sure I am not working, given relatives a copy of the fixture list to make sure no weddings/parties etc clash with games ..........................

Anyone do anything similiar?

i was in butlins october 2007 when cardiff were playing liverpool at anfield in the carling up i was 15...

i travelled from butlins to cardiff 30 mins later got the cardiff city bus to liverpool watched the game went back to cardiff for the night woke up and then travelled back to butlins all in under 24 hours !

Not anymore, although i used to a few years back skipping work and stuff now if im working i will work or family things before that, its not like it used to be for me so the lengths of what ive done dont come in to it anymore, way more important things than cardiff city

When I was working in Seville, Spain all home games on a Saturday:

2 hour drive from Seville to Malaga.
Flight from Malaga to East Midlands Airport.
Stayed overnight at my house.
Saturday morning drive down to Cardiff.
Watch game then drive back to Derby.
Sunday caught plane to Malaga.
2 hour drive back to Seville.

That's nothing, it took me twenty minutes to get to Watford the other week

Drove to South Wales from Scotland Tueasday morning,picking up CityOne enroute.
Took in Leicester Match then drove back up the next morning.



But was Married on Saturday 19thMay 2007.
Told the wife I would take her away for weekend on first Anniversary.

Sadly though we didn't go anywhere...


CARDIFF CITY V PORTMOUTH FA CUP FINAL Saturday 18th May 2008

I pulled a sickie numerous times in work and effectively got sacked for going to away games and in particular the play off final
lol

Travelled back from turkey to England then England to Cardiff for the Charlton game. Got to the ground 5 mins before kick off.


Slept on the floor outside Ninian Park to get FA cup tickets.

Went to court and got an order from the Judge stating that I had access to my daughters every other week (when we play away)

i moved from cardiff to cambridgeshire a number of years ago. i am only 18 and have a car. i make most of the aways and around 5home games a year.

on tuesday i bunked off college and drove over 200miles to cardiff on my own, saw us promoted and partied to the end! then left cardiff at midnight and drove a further 200miles home! didn't get in till 04:30! it was worth every mile! only downside was that i had an assessment in college yesterday morning so had to be up at 8am! was shattered, but worth it!

Drove from Scotland to Exeter years ago and straight back after the game. Would like to say it was worth it but we lost 2-0

I have my daughters wedding in Vagas going out on 28th august for a week so I guess I am going to miss at least 2 games
