How must the glory supporters feel?

Wed Apr 17, 2013 9:00 pm

They used to laugh at us and ask us why we watched rubbish Cardiff City. Now we are in the Premiership with them. These glory hunters are now embarrassed and intimidated, some probably wish they could jump on our bandwagon, but they know they can't. They've made their bed poking fun at us for years and they will no doubt poke fun at us further next season if they beat us. But the fact they're all kicking up such a fuss is because they fear us, they fear local Cardiff City turning them over and embarassing them next season. I smell their fear and I bloody love it! :ayatollah:

Dont even get me started on them. A school full of Man Utd and Liverpool as a kid, they couldnt relate to me and why id go out in shitty conditions week in week out to watch us almost get kicked out the football league....and I couldn't relate to supporting another City in another Country. I just couldnt understand why they weren't oozing with Cardiffian passion like I was/am. Its our time!!! :ayatollah:

Exactly the same with me mate. I was the only one in the class to be a Cardiff fan. I'm so thankful my dad took me to my first game when I was 4 years old and I was hooked ever since! When I was celebrating in Canton after the game, my friend was distraught about reading a post on Facebook from one of the local boys who's a Man Utd fan. It read something like "6 easy points next season, can't wait for us to smash Cardiff!"

These glory fans live in a different world, a world in front of Sky TV in their armchair. Our world will always be supporting our local team whatever the level, we will always be there and it will always be real. That's what made last night so special for us all. The emotions we all went through last night are emotions a glory fan will never experience, they will never go through what we go through and that's why they will never understand us. They'll never understand what it's like to be a proper football fan.
