Is he good enough ? Opinion seems split but who thinks he will hack it in the Premiere ? Personally i think he is quality and is an unsung hero and i have no doubts that he will shine next season so i will start it off with the "Yes" vote

Yes very rarely makes a mistake and gets through his fair share of work.

2nd half of this season he's been outstanding.

he's become all round good left back as the seasons gone on bit dodgy defensively at beginning but fairplay you can tell he has worked hard to up his game

It's a yes from me and I agree 100% when you describe him as an unsung hero Nukes.


Clocked more minutes gametime than any other outfield player this season and still looking strong.

Best LB in the league, and it's a really hard position to play, trust me.

I think his style of play will be suited to the Prem anyway, as long as he doesn't back off wingers as much as he does now. Just behind Marshy and Gunnar for POTY IMO

Deserves his chance. Think we need better than Lappin as cover/competition at left back

Most improved player over past 3 months.

He definetly is IMO. The way he plays reminds me of the style of Leighton Baines of Everton as well.

He is the best left back we have had for years. He deserves it

The way I see it is that he is reliable. He isn't outstanding quality wise, but he gets the job done and is solid in pretty much every area expected from him. Will he be a first team player next season? I don't know. But I hope he get's plenty of games and plays a part.

We do need new fullbacks though, whether it be first team or back up. We lack depth in the fullbacks, wingers and strikers. With £25m, we can solve these problems, and also add some quality.

But Taylor has been as consistent as Marshall and Hudson and deserves his mention

Hes an excellent left back and has really upped his game since he signed his contract extension

Its hard to say if any player is good enough for the premiership unless theyve played in it
I certainly didnt think the likes of dyer,britton and ashley williams would be good enough

I think he is but as a back up. We need a better LB for next season but he's a great back up in my opinion.

Future City captain, he shows so much passion for our club. A true bluebird, see how him and bellers were the only players crying in happiness, these are the players who play for fans, pride, selection and (as always) a new contract (a few extra thousand wouldn't go a miss!). Not that the other players don't care, they were all elated but these two felt emotionally attatched (clearly)!

YES YES YES ... a MILLION time yes! Most under-rated player in our team, since christmas he has not put one foot wrong, solid in all aspects of his game and has such great consistency.

To be honest with some posts that have appeared about him recently i was expecting around 50/ 50. But Chwarae teg i am pleased he has the vast backing of our fans.

He played in the PL when he was at Boro when he was very young. I have confidence he'll make the step up

Just keeping it real nukes IMO he be up against much better players next season and hes done it before but got relegated with boro hence why i doubt think hes a prem player if we want to surive but i could say the same about 8-9 of the 1st team squad tbh, rite now let them enjoy what they have achieved theres pnety of time for this

I understand your point regarding him getting relegated with Middlesbrough, but I'm not sure whether he was a regular or not.

2008- 2009 Taylor played 24 games when they went down, thats all i know, still they had sold there best players that season so that didnt help either i suppose.

The season isn't over, we have just got to the premier league and there is a poll on a player that has been outstanding for 3/4 of the season , is this what this forum is coming to. Can't we just be proud of what they have achieved for a few weeks until the season is over, then do this just my opinion
