Figueroa and Simpson

Maynor Figueroa and Danny Simpson, both free transfers at the end of the season I believe, from Wigan and Newcastle.

Figueroa would provide options for both CB and LB, he's versatile and proven to be one of Wigan's better defenders for me in the few seasons he's had there, would add balance to the defence.

Danny Simpson is more questionable in terms of quality, but recently for me he has done well for Newcastle and is a natural right sided player with a bit of pace, something a lot of fans have been calling out for.

Would you take one of them, both or none?

I would easily take both. We need depth, and if they are willing to take a dip in their wage, I welcome them. Would be funny seeing Tulisa at the stadium.

I'd take Figueroa but not Simpson.

I imagine Figueroa would be wanted by bigger clubs than us tbh.

Danny Simpson isn't great, but he's got more Prem experience than Kev and Connolly, and he's probably better than them too. That would be a more realistic signing if we go up and could get him for cheap.

Danny Simpson is a good player, would be a great addition to our squad.
