Blakey: I always said we would win promotion in the Charlton game and we did it.
Tucker: It was fantastic. The game was edgy but as we got closer to the end we could all feel the atmosphere and the volume go up. When people streamed onto the pitch it was such a moment of joy.

Blakey: Everything steps up a level now. The amount of away fans will increase week in week out. There will be a lot of special, carnival atmospheres but it's going to be tough so people have to back their team and manager.

Tucker: Cardiff fans will have to raise their own game to outsing Man Utd and Liverpool fans..

Blakey: As a player that gives you all the help you need.

Blakey: All credit must go to Malky Mackay. He has done an excellent job.

Tucker: He built a squad from nothing and got them into the play offs. Now this season, he has taken the team to another level.

Tucker: I wasn't supposed to speak to Vincent Tan last night but I did. I would like to think he is there for the long term and the good of the club. Everything he has said he would do, he has done.
They give Mackay big backing last summer.

Blakey: I think he has been bitten by the football bug and last night when the fans went mad, it is overwhelming, and makes you think things you wouldn't normally think. He will be thinking today he wants to give Cardiff the best chance of staying up.

Blakey: We have won promotion with a squad. We could move 8 players out and bring 7 or 8 in but Malky might look at it and just add a few players. I don't think it's such a major jump anymore. The top 3 or 4 in the Championship are as good as the bottom 3 or 4 in the Prem.

Tucker: Look at Wolves and BLackburn and then look at the likes of Norwich and Swansea. They need to strengthen but not as much as people might think.

Blakey: Fraizer has been asked to go and score goals in this team and I think he can in the Premier. Malky might need another striker to give him an option. Mason will grow into the Premier but you might find a player on the continent like Michu.
I have been scouting in Italy and there are plenty of people there who could play in the Premier League. Chelsea have players in their reserves who are fantastic.

Blakey: In my opinion, Whittingham will struggle in a 442. The only way he should play is in a 3 man midfield.

Tucker: His stock has fallen so quickly. For years it's looked like he would go to the Prem without Cardiff. Now it looks like the boot is on the other foot.

Blakey: Nooney will step up to the Premier League. Players like him in the Premier League could really make an impact.

Tucker: Kim looks like a player who's sure to do well.

Tucker: In 2000 what were the BLuebirds doing.? I was going down in the late 90s and Blakey's days were like the Champions League compared to that. Let's give some credit to Sam Hammam for raising the club out of those doldrums. How many years had people neglected it for? Sam got the club the publicity and found the money to get things going. History will look upon Ridsdale and Hammam favourably.

Blakey: It's funny how so many businessmen around South Wales are going to watch City now. We could have done with a few of those in the early 90s.

Tucker: I can't wait until June 19 when the Premier League fixtures come out.

Blakey: I think there is a derby match the fans are slightly looking forward to.

Tucker: Cardiff seem to have more players of Premier League potential than Swansea had when they went up. The likes of Campbell and Kim are clearly top players.

Blakey: A year from now we will have surprises - positive and negative ones.

Blakey: I think Cardiff will win the title at Burnley on Saturday.

Tucker: Burnley home was one of the best performances of the season . I'm sure we will beat them.
