I THINK THE ATMOSPHERE DEBATE WAS PUT TO BED

Wed Apr 17, 2013 9:25 am

Last night. I watched the game on the net (i would have given anything to be there) and also had the commentary on radio wales, at times the commentators could not hear themselves speaking, the noise was incredible, well done every one of you  it's the fans that make the atmosphere, that was proved last night. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Paul, Ive always said its our fans who make the atmosphere and when a few games ago, our fans starting feeling we were finally going to make it and our fans united on the songs like The Blues are going up, we become the best fans in the UK :ayatollah: :malky: :ayatollah:

It was a great atmosphere last night but in all honesty I think it would be hard to replicate that every game.

That said it was amazing looking at the Canton last night (for the Ninian) and seeing them in full voice. They are the singing section and it really is their responsiblity to up the tempo on a more regular basis.

Where did I say I disagreed? Stop assuming.

Merely pointing out that in my mind, the atmosphere was better against Forest.

Fantastic, doesn't answer why Craig has made a daft comment about my remarks. It's almost like he thinks I'm not allowed to have differing thoughts. :laughing5:

There's a myth about the CCS 'atmosphere. Talking to a couple of City players a couple of yrs ago, they said it was actually much louder and noisier than NP. The noise at NP was contained in the 'stands' which made it seem quite intense to us spectators, but because of the openess of NP the noise dissipated out through the corners etc.

No I'm not. It's an opinion. Neither of us can be right or wrong, unless there are facts involved.

Did you take your decibel reader with you last night?

I don't know what's funnier - the image of you with a decibel reader at the game, or the fact that you are trying to convince people you actually took one with you.

In all fairness, there was no need to point out that you thought the atmosphere was better at some other game, unless of course, your deliberately trying to be provocative.

Mobiles are wonderful these days. I have an app from playstore called noise metre. Used for something other than football originally. Its very good actually.

So, according to my decibel levels it was louder on Tuesday night.

Although as every other poster will know this by using their ears. We know you dont like listening to anything other than your own drivel though chuckles.

Nice story. But weird that you'd want to measure decibel levels than watch the game.

Atmosphere is more than just noise. At times there was silence and you could her the players. Probably crowd nerves. Against Forest that didn't happen.

Why not just admit that those thoughts are posted in order to be provocative, why you need to do it, only you will know

Mobiles fit in your hand. They can record. You dont need to watch them.
