Rudy rudy rudy

I think rudy is coming on leaps and bounds fair play he run after every ball last night and got his head to every ball that went near him! Top man fair play he's kept working hard and his games improved 10 fold

He was quality last night. If he plays alongside Maynard or Fraizer in the Prem he'll do a great job for us. :ayatollah:

Nice bloke but not a good footballer.

Dangerous if we can get decent crosses into the box but he is shocking on the deck as proven again last night. Couldnt build from him at all. Everytime went into his feet or chest we lost it.

No. He's was average at best last night.

One crumb of comfort for him he wasnt as bad as Bellamy.

He was woeful last night.

Yep. Craig more useful defensively recently than any sort of attacking force.

thought rudy done ok, not brilliant.

Hes all round play as improved a hell of a lot this season, i wouldnt be against keeping him next season, but we clearly need a goal threat. Should be our main aim

Yes, giving honest opinions about a player for CCFC. Just like you do about Whittingham. Problem?

I agree, his touch has improved and his vision is pretty good too.

Vastly improved ....and will be a more than a decent squad member next season.

I think Rudy is a great guy but some of the comments about his all round play are valid. I see his role as an impact player from the bench and he has done that job well this season when called upon.

Next year we really need a proven goal scorer to play along side Frazier Campbell, unless of course we continue with the one up front tactic.

I also think the comments about Bellamy are honest and valid. His work rate is there and he can't be faulted for that, but that extra bit of quality which we pay £36k p/w for was again missing. Not sure if he is training as much as we would like due to his dodgy knees, but he doesn't half look rusty and lacks a touch of composure you would expect.

I like Rudy, and not just the man, but the player and in my opinion it would be extremely harsh not to recognise the level of improvement he has shown this year to last. We all know Rudy is not our main striker, he even knows and accepts this himself, but whenever he is called upon his gives his best.

The same as any player MM has had available to him this season he has behaved impeccably, trained hard, and play his part within the group of players who I'm sure are now bound for legend status in city folklore. Rudy has 1 year left on his contract and I think he will br around next year but will have to improve again to be part of the matchday squad.

As for Craig Bellamy he wasn't at his best last night but I think he was emotionally drained as this promotion has meant so much to him personally. The sight of him falling to his knees at the final whistle is testament to that in my opinion. I think there may well be a little extra energy in those legs this morning.

Have to say I thought Gunnarsonn was a real warrior last night.

Bellamy has played a lot of games this season and internationals, I think he still has more to offer and will after a period of rest.

Gunner was class, Mutch struggled, Kimbo class

Thought Whitts should have come on for Mutch last night as we couldnt keep the ball at all after 65 minutes.
