I'd rather see the likes of McNaughton get a go than buy next seasons equivalent of Bosingwa!

We should be following Southampton's lead and buying a few players to further our footy but not whole squads!!

Marshall, McNaughton, Turner, Hudson, Taylor, Mutch, Kim, Whittingham, Bellamy, Campbell, Maynard, Mason and all the other regulars this year deserve a shot at some playing time next season. Which means we should really be looking at 4-5 new players max! (proper players mind!)

wow! I forgot how much they spent!

I meant in terms of how many players they've kept in their first team from last year.

in that of those they've bought - only 6 are really in their squad week in week out. So 11+ from existing squad and they could easily field 9/10 in a team that they had last season
