A forum for all things Cardiff City

I've just signed up to this forum despite being a daily reader of the topic for last couple of years..
Looking back to last Seasons Carling Cup Final against Liverpool when Kenny Miller hit the post to put us 2-0 up in the shoot-out and potentially 1 kick away from European Football..
Does anyone else think that was a blessing in disguise?
Despite the great squad we have now and the hard working ethic which Malkay has instilled in the side, I can only think European football would have been a hinderance to us this season, and perhaps we'd have been looking at the Lottery of the Play-Offs again, what with the additional games the Europa League would have brought.
I would have taken that heartbreaking loss against Liverpool every day of the week if it mean't we'd be in the position we are now!
We're in a phenominal position now to create history for this great club and City. Roll on tonight where I believe Bellers will end his 19 game goal drought and score the goal that takes us to the Promised Land!

I've thought this for a while - and I'm quite pleased the Jacks are in Europe next season - let's hope thet have a horrible Thursday night game away in Russia just before we play them

Yeah, hopefully! Wigan will be in Europe next season too, so hopefully they stay up this season and really struggle next. I'm praying one of the suppposed bigger clubs like Villa, Sunderland or Newcastle go down with QPR and Reading to give us a slightly better chance of staying up!

He should have buried that 85th minute chance. I would have loved. A bit of silverware
