do you think trouble will come back next season?

Mon Apr 15, 2013 10:08 pm

So if we get promoted we have:

west ham
chelsea
swansea
tottenham
newcastle

and still a few more who look and would want trouble from us..

do you think we will see more arrest and trouble next year?

no, I certainly hope not.

I am not old enough to remember the "dark days" and haven't been involved in trouble myself so I probably don't have a clue, but I shouldn't think so.

Within the last couple of seasons we have faced Swansea, Millwall, West Ham, Leeds, Bristol etc. and there hasn't been a great deal.

Wouldn't be surprised if the media give us a hard time for whatever does happen though.

I think the biggest risk of trouble will be on return of away games.

Lets suppose Cardiff go to Old Traffod and get beaten. Then the coach loads of City fans come back home, go in to their local pubs to find local lads in Man U shirts. I can imagine that kicking off. I don't think there will be any trouble at the games themselves though.

Watch out for Stoke. Plenty of history there.

Played Stoke in the cup a few seasons ago, very little trouble to speak of. This season we have Bristol City, Leeds, Millwall and Birmingham in our division, all come with history. We have played West Ham, West Brom and QPR in recent seasons with little to speak of.

Think we will be fine.

Anyone getting involved in any trouble in the top division will get battered by the authorities, Sky and the Premier League don't want their "Product" tainted.

Honestly, watch the sentences that get dished out from the Newcastle v Sunderland match... Zero tolerance these days folks, especially in the Premier League.

Will not be as bad as our lot got against Chelsea.
That was right over the top.

I wouldn't be surprised to see sentences just as long handed out. I've been to a lot of away games and you very rarely see any problems in the Premier League. When things like the trouble at the weekend raise their head, watch them come crashing down on them.

Could be, as they have highlighted it over and over for days now, so media will be keeping an eye on the situation.
