Premiership Revenue 2013/ 14.

Mon Apr 15, 2013 9:55 pm

Read in one of the Sunday papers that next season the team that finishes bottom of the Premiership will pick up more money than Man City picked up last season for winning the league. Found that stat unbelievable.

The increased television receipts for next year will take the importance of tomorrow's game to a different level. It is without doubt the biggest game in the clubs history and a packed ground will roar the team on to get that final point we need. Really looking forward to tomorrow evening, won't be easy I don't think, but think we will bag a win let alone a draw.

So if ever there was a season to gain promotion it's this year. Roll on tomorrow night and shout your heads off. Lets create an atmosphere that gives us a goal start before we even kick off.

If that's true, then bloody hell that's weird. More money for getting relegated?

About the game, i'm pretty shocked Sky or BBC haven't made any special arrangements to show it on TV. The amount of people who haven't been able to get tickets, a bit harsh if they can't see it for themselves

It's all to do with the increased money from Sky fir television rights. Amazing that next year will generate so much more money that only 18 months prior. Like I said never been a better time to secure promo!
