If people want to leave early they will. I couldn't imagine someone standing on the steps trying to stop people leaving :laughing6:

If the reason fans leave early is because they have kids or they've got to be somewhere which requires them to leave a game early, then I don't have a problem.

They would be mad to leave early tomorrow though considering it's our promotion game. I'll be shocked if there are still empty seats in the Family Stand.

It's got nothing to do with anybody else if someone wants to leave early its there choice !
Ever thought about individual problems with people ?
I have a friend sits with us who had a operation this season but still went to the games , he couldn't walk and stumble down the steps at the end when everybody is cueing and shoving down so we had to watch the last 5 mins in the bar . Sorry if that's not ok with some people it's horrible being a plastic
We're going up tomorrow and all some people think about is supposed plastic fans  grow up and support your team and leave people to do what they want .
Some reasons people leave early :
Have kids and need to get home (ie paying hard earned money for babysitters so they can SUPPORT there team )
Have work early in the mornings ( there's more than one 5oclock in a day ;) )
Have a long journey ( I know at least 4 people who travel from Gloucester every game who have work the next day )
Like to get out before the crowds so watch last few mins in bar ( nothing wrong with that IMO )

I would go on but can't be assed

Would love it if a ST holder decided he wanted to leave and beat the traffic as he lives in the midlands, as a small child with him and he has work the next day at 7.30 and some spotty, bucktoothed teenager who comes once a season tries to stop him. Let people leave when they want, it's ultimately their loss and their choice.

Thing is though, not everyone has the choice. Some people have to leave early. If they don't, the only other option is simply not go to the game. And quite often these people are the ones who make the most effort to make the games too.

I travel from Bath to watch games, and weeknight games are a pain in the backside because the last train back is quite early. Now tomorrow I am making an exception, getting a later train and then getting a bus from Bristol to Bath. Not only will that mean I'll get back over 2 hours later than I would if I left 5 minutes early and got the last through train, but it is also quite a bit more expensive. There's no way I'd be able to do that for every midweek game I go to. If anything I think I should get some credit for making the effort!

I left at half time sat as my mate was cold in his short sleeve shirt as we were out for the night.
Lucky we did otherwise I wouldn't have got talking to this 19year old student who we bumped into again in lava lounge Sunday morning. :ayatollah:

You are, of course, correct in your statement that "people can leave when they want" but I would have to ask WTF would anyone want to leave early tonight IF we are in the golden position and unless it involves work or an emergency? :?

The culmination of so many dreams and not to be missed ;) :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
