Ref for Charlton

Mon Apr 15, 2013 7:45 am

Scott Matthieson. Last time this fella had a never to be missed City fixture? Last game at Ninian v Ipswich. He tends to rain our parade, and as far as I can recall, does not have a good record with us.

Your right he was in charge of the last game at Ninian Park but the defeat was nothing to do with him. Scott Matthieson is one of the more experienced referees at this level and is now in his 15th season. Overall our record with with him in charge is that we haven't lost in 80% of the games he has controlled, hardly the stuff of parade raining.

We have already had him once this season in the 0-0 home draw against Ipswich, last season we also had him once in the 5-3 home vixtory over Barnsley. In the only other game we have had with SM in charge since the last game at NP we drew 1-1 away at Scunthorpe. In fact out of 14 league matches we have only lost 2 with SM in charge.

Considering what we need tomorrow night his past record would suggest we will get it. The point that is. ;)

Ahh, happy to be proved wrong on that front. You always remember the bigger games, unfortunately, 1 -1 away to Scunny does not come flooding back!
