Interestingly, during that 1959/60 promotion season, we also played Charlton Athletic, loosing 1-2 at the Valley, & winning 5-1 at Ninian park.

I was there. I was 11 years old and I was standing behind the boy's enclosure on the Grange end with my dad. I can still remember the goal that Graham Moore scored. The ball was coming straight towards me as it hit the back of the net. Seems like only yesterday. Many years have passed but I get just as excited now when I watch the city play. Tuesday's going to be very special.

Both my father & late Grandfather were also there, they all went on the pitch after the final whistle.

It's going to be electric at the CCS on Tuesday night, i'm sure. Just hope we can get a similar result on the night.
