No it wasnt worth it tbh it would have felt ten times better if we had stayed the same and then tan would be a legend but as it is he aint in many peoples eyes thats why supporting the team is all people can do as one :malky:

didn't give up badge/colour for premiership? gave it up for probable survival! promotion is a bonus, or part of the deal? whichever way you want to see it.

Another of these threads, excellent. We didn't have a choice in the matter, so what exactly did us fans give up?

That wasnt the question though was it. He didnt ask what the fans gave up. He asked generally whether giving up the badge and colour was worth it. Why read the thread if youre bored with the subject?

and that is a matter of opinion so never going to get a right or wrong answer? on that basis is it worth asking the question??
only starts another pointless debate.

of course its a matter of opinion with no right or wrong answer - thats what forums are all about but why read and contribute to a thread when you believe its pointless when all you do is criticise the question anyway. I dont open threads when the subject heading doesnt interest me. Strange really

me? never criticised it had an opinion and answered some responses as you do on here, said the question is pointless because at end of day us fans didn't have say in matter, so how can we say its worth it or not? if ask club only one sanswer isn't there?

and besides 99% of threads are of no interest to people on here but if people didn't resond it would be a very boreing forum!

Im not entirley sure of your point in that post but whether we had control of the outome or not, you can still have an opnion on whether the rebrand was worth it for premier football surely.

Premiership football is a bonus from all the pain of the rebrand. That answer enough? :ayatollah:

What a load of bollocks

Guys Tan had backed down, he released a statement saying how the rebrand was now scrapped.... THE FANS then begged him to do it, so he did.

If you are big enough to rip away 100 years of traditions handed down from grandad to grandson then be big enough to admit it. We had a duty of care to this club and sold the family heirloom for a loan essentially.

Feels dirty and all sorts of wrong, but don't for a minute pretend that we had no choice because you are only kidding yourselves, everyone knows what happened.

This isn't anti or pro anything, it's the truth isn't it? Tell me otherwise if I've got it wrong, but I clearly haven't.

So it's gone from "there's nothing we could have done, hate it but we must now enjoy the ride" and then after being shown we had a choice and chose to rid ourselves of the colours it is now.... "Shite happens, cest la vie"

Glory supporting at its finest. Why people just don't admit it I don't know.

You do realise it isn't possible to be a wind up by stating the truth don't you? The topic is being discussed, surely it is better to deal in facts rather to pretend the fans had no say on it?

If its winding you up then surely it's more an issue of the reality of the subject being discussed rather than me?

Come on now, speak sense.
