End of season - Clear out

Sun Apr 14, 2013 2:55 pm

Who do you think will be sold/moved on for either not being up to the grade of a prem player as we will need better to survive so there moved on, i would like to think all would stay and be given a chance but it does not work that way in football if you go up to the prem league and are trying to stay there. Theres also players who will probly go out on loan heres my list who i think will not cut it weather sold or loaned out or even freed up :malky:

We all have opinions, don't agree with him or Connolly. Will both be good to have in the squad.

I can't see all of them being shipped out. MM will probally like the younger ones around the squad, in the development or even out on loan. Also Smith might hang around for the experienced factor like bellamy

I dont think taylor or connelly are prem fullbacks at all tbh but like you said you rate them, i did say loaned out also in my OP the likes of ralls, kiss, etien ect would probly go out on loan hopefully get some proper games :malky:

Most of those will stay;
Parish - Malky says he has a big future
Connelly - Defo staying
McNaughton - I think he'll get a new contract
Taylor- No way he'll be leaving
Lappin - New signing, won't be going until at least next January
Conway - Prem squad player next year
Smith - Same as Conway
Cowie - Son of Malky, will probably make the bench a few times
Ralls - Loan deal, he'll be here for years
Rudy - Impact target man
Velikonja - Can't see Malky letting im go after spending so much on him, loan deal

Personally I would get rid of a few of them, can't see Malky doing it though

He played when Stewart Downing played for Middlesbrough , they were Mid table side then

Re: End of season - Clear out

I think that list can be cut in half.

Parish - Yes

Connelly - No. Why would you get rid?

Mcnaughton - No. At least, I hope not.

Taylor - No. Plenty of chances to get a better left back in this season, so why would Malky get rid once he's done the job asked of him?

Lappin - Yes. Has hardly played, and won't make the first squad in the Premier League.

Mcphail - To retire and become a coach, perhaps?

Conway - No. Bags of effort, decent quality. Wanted out at the start of the season but has proven his worth.

Kiss - Yes. Not much to say on that front.

Smith - No. Premier League experience is needed; Smith can offer some.

Cowie - Perhaps. Decent player, but can't see him being too effective in the PL.

Ralls - Yes. Loan move due to potential?

Helguson - No. Are you kidding? Our current top scorer, and was QPR's top scorer in the Premier League when he left...

Rudy - No. Malky sees something in him, and we know he can hassle PL defenders.

Velikonja - Yes.

You would sell Noone? And Loan Mason? I think that these two would be suited to PL football.

Bellers, Maynard, Campbell, new forward. I just can't see where Joe fits in.

Noone isn't cutting the mustard at the top of the championship. Impish little runs without end product is not what we need next season. To play him we must sacrifice a worker in midfield or one of the forwards, he needs to look at Conways effort and desire as he has more natural skill.

Ralls, Mason and Kiss would be my insurance policy in case we end up back in the championship the following season.

I dont think any of the younger players will be going nowhere on a perm basis but of course if we got better players with prem XP or overseas players better than what we have maybe they will go out on loan, like you said we would need them younger players if we was to go back down :malky:

Kevs contract runs out the end of may and looks like hes off unless they have offered him a new deal as for ralls he needs game time but MM wouldnt let him go this season when asked about him by a few clubs so i think he might go out on loan along with a few other younger ones if we get some players in of course who we will need im sure :ayatollah:
