Steve Clarridge rates him. Not sure if that's a good thing or not?

I think he could kick on and surprise a few.

We wont know for sure of course until next season, but i've thought since christmas that he will be more suited to the PL. Extremely effective against Liverpool last year...add 8 or so goals to that next season and we'll be laughing

Why do you keep bringing up other people's names that disagree with you? I find it rather odd tht you would do that.

I don't rate him, you do - deal with it? It's not a massive thing!

He certainly wasn't a donkey yesterday, but it's going to take one good sub appearance to get me to change my thoughts on him overall.

His performances over the season have got better - mind you, it wasn't exactly hard to get better from some of his earlier showings. :ayatollah:

Nice of you to say he wasnt a donkey yesterday but I asume you think he was a donkey at some time in the past ....well I thought all players strive to improve so in that case hes doing good :ayatollah:

Yes. His last start, he was totally atrocious (I forget who it was against) but he was hauled off at half time. Since then every time I've seen him play, he's improved.

At the moment, I can count on 1 hand the amount of times he has impressed me - yesterday he was excellent however & lets hope he continues his improvement.

He wouldn't stay fit enough to be in the first team but I expect him to be used as an impact sub for us because I can't see Malky bringing in the sort of striker that would mean he is out of the picture.

Personally I'd like us to bring in a Jay Rodriguez/Danny Graham (both Malky favourites) and Jamie Mackie to add to the forward options but think he might stick with Campbell, Maynard and Mason. Either way there is probably room for Rudy but less so if we got someone like Rodriguez in.

He's a good impact player, but not a first team player. Bar the Carling Cup Final, he rarely seems effective enough if he starts the game. But when he's come on as a sub, most of the time he's done well. Can't see him starting many games next season (providing we're in the premier league, not there yet), but he has impressed me this season. I can see why others don't rate him though
