In there before game,there were around 5 forest fans in the bar,they had a night out in town on Friday night and didn't have tickets,they had no interest in causing any trouble and left when it was mentioned

Coppers I think.
They stopped anyone going into bar and the lounge was rammed full. There was six or seven coppers by both doors. I'd imagine they were escorted out the back but I got bored and went to canton.

I walked past after the game and saw 2 police cars and about 8 coppers around the pub. I wondered what happened

When we got back to the Ninian after the game, 40-50 older Forest lads were in the bar side, they had left the game 20 mins before the end of the game, followed by police, they walked straight in there and the police covered all entrances, let them drink in there and then escorted them back to the train station once the crowds had gone.

When we got back to the Ninian after the game, 40-50 older Forest lads were in the bar side, they had left the game 20 mins before the end of the game, followed by police, they walked straight in there and the police covered all entrances, let them drink in there and then escorted them back to the train station once the crowds had gone.

werent escorted to the train station, they were escorted back to the stadium where their coaches were waiting for them, complete screw up by the police and embarrassing for them, then had a second escort for their 2 coaches to leave the area.

yeah it was the other halfs of the two coaches since one half had gone to the ninian the other half wanted to go, police wouldnt let them.

We missed KO due to traffic and heard match was on in Ninian. Watched 2nd half with steak & chips then about 40 Forest came in luckily I knew one of them as there were only 2 of us - the rest families & couples dissapeared. It was their main 80s mob we left unscathed about 5:30. I have a few vids but have been dissed by a few lads for glorifying them. Thanks to Greg Dawson for taking care of us as we would not have had a chance. They were a handy mob.
