Does anyone recall Rudy Geeing up the Canton Stand, this young man may not be everyone's preferred choice but you could see he wears his heart on his sleeve and loves the club and the fans . :ayatollah:

Always has and it is a great sight to see a player do that.

He done it against Pompey away last season when he won a corner.. truly amazing.

You can really tell he wants it. Same as Barnett, you could see it means alot to the players. Great to see for once in a city side :ayatollah: Passion

Sat by him a while ago in the grandstand and he was singing "we're the greatest team in football the world has ever seen" out loud along with the canton.

Remember the likes of Jlloyd Samuel? Players rocking up hungover to one of the most important games of the season.

Barnett has been the best loan player. He was badly needed and my word has he played a part.. ent it 4 clean sheets in 6?

I would like to see him sign on a permanent i believe he would be within our budget and a decent player .

Very good player Barnett but you've changed your tune on him :laughing6:

I would be shocked if MM extended a loan.

Nice to see players gesturing to the crowd for noise. Good on Rudy :ayatollah:

He's been great in the last couple of months to be fair to him

To whoever it concerns, it was never wise to right Rudy off, another 100 per center for our team and two great headers yesterday, watch them again if you dare. :D :ayatollah: :malky:

I thought we had seen the last of Rudy after the Ipswich game.

Since then he has basically come on as an impact players and done very well. Will he make it to the starting 11? Not sure.

He took his goals brilliantly. Probably not a first 11 starter but if he keeps developing who knows. I just hope some on here who labelled him a donkey etc are feeling pretty stupid right now :ayatollah:

Not at all. Did you not see some of his performances earlier on in the season? :?

He's done well yesterday & deserves the praise - can't deny that. One good performance doesn't mean he should suddenly start every game though.

That said, I hope that he continues to improve.

Who says he should start every game? He's still inexperienced at this level and developing. To write him off as many have done, including you, is pretty poor IMO. Yeah he's had his poor games / moments, but then how many of our players can't you label in the same way?

Exactly people like to use him as a scapegoat whilst players like Whitts (who has done nothing since christmas). Rudy always works hard certainly not the best player on the pitch but since january everytime he's come in he's changed the game for us.
