Yet another great performance, yet another clean sheet and yet another assist. How many assists does he have this season now? The running he does up and down the wing when defending and attacking is incredible. My player of the season. That is all.

I've been critical of him last season and the first half of this season.
However he's been superb this latter part of the season. True left wing back.

I was at the start of the season, for the first dozen games or so, as I was with Marshall and Hudson (both understandably, most peoples choices for player of the season) when we were shipping goals away to Palace, Forest, Charlton etc. But the rest of this season, Taylor has been mr consistant. Apart from Middlesbrough away, when everyone had a shocker in the first half, I can't remember the last time Taylor had a poor game.
Taylor has been part of a defence that has now kept 17 clean sheets this season and his extra attacking attributes such as his class distribution, engine to run up and down the wing, overlapping, crossing and assisting makes him my player of the season. He has put in a number of crosses to set up goals at crucial stages of the game, or in injury time. His cross for Rudy against Leicester with the last attack of the game to grab a point being one example. The fact Taylor has also been ever present this season and kept up such a good, consistant level of performance makes him my choice for player of the season.
