1. Where and when did he claim this?

2. He certainly put cash into the club to help pay wages etc many years ago

3. He certainly got a good return on his money. He was charging the club 20% above bank base rates which were , from memory, about 5% at the time so he was getting about 25% interest.Not quite in Wonga territory , but certainly not an over benevolent gesture.

Keith since 62 beat me to it.I remember he lent the club 2 million quid allegedly with an enormous interest rate attached
I thought he was a so called fan as well so why charge the club you love + 20%

Im putting my views on my blog because if I posted it here I'd get banned within an instant.

If these figures are correct, he may have contributed to the debt mountain, who knows. Sometimes it's best to go bust and rid the club of financial parasites. Although i'm not saying this guy is one ofcourse.
