My First Ever Cardiff Match

Was a cold Tuesday night 22nd I think of Feb 2004. We had Leicester at Ninian Park in the 3rd Round of what was then the Worthington Cup. I sat top tier in the bob bank, and was in line with the halfway line. We lost 2-0 (Cant remember who scored). Wasn't the best match but from that point on I knew had become a Bluebird for life. 3 days later I then went off to see Wales thrash Scotland 5-0 at the Millennium Stadium with Earnshaw scoring a hat-trick. There was great banter from both the Welsh and Scottish fans after the game.

Those my fellow Bluebirds were my first 2 matches that I watched outside of England, that then made me a Bluebird.

What were your first Cardiff and Welsh matches?

And I think we played pompey in the cup not Leicester

Are you sure it was Feb 2004 - I thought that Leicester game was in 2005?
