We have an abundance of quality midfielders and in comparison poor strikers(with the injuries at the moment) why not try this team?

Bloody Hell we f**k about too much as it is without trying to copy the bleeding World Champions. At some point we are going to have to stop relying on set pieces and trying to walk the ball into the net and simply convert the chances we make by being more clinical.

We play the way we do because our team has limited ability. Playing how Spain do is incredibly difficult. It's not just a formation it is a style of play. Swansea do it with Michu up front who is actually a midfielder but that has taken them as a club nearly a decade to become what it is today, and still it can be improved.
