TEAM v FOREST?

Thu Apr 11, 2013 2:42 pm

Assuming Frazier Campbell and Matt Connolly will still be injured for Saturday v Forest, this is what I would go with.

However, I predict Malky will pick the same team as Tuesday.

surely he cant pick the same team? there should be no way that smith should play again this season unless we get injuries.

About time we gave Noone a go.

Marshall
Ken Barnett Turner Taylor
Gunnar
Bellamy Mutch Kim Conway
Gestede

Lewis, Neugent, Noone, Smith, Whitts, Mason, Helgusson.

Whitts should be no where near the starting XI.

Noone for whitts and heidar for mason :ayatollah:

Mason shouldn't start he can't play up on his own.

Stick rudy up there get balls into the box then bring mason on when there defence is knackered later on.

Noone should definitely start.

If Campbell is unfit then no question Heidar up top with Mason coming off the bench second half. Heidar has the experience, looked good when he came on against Barnsley (even though he didn't take his chances) and he is better than Rudy !

This unfortunately for us Cambell is injured and IMO the only other player with have who can play up front on his own in a 4-5-1 is Gestede mason was poor on Tuesday Helgurson proved he ain't a goal scorer with the 2 sitters and the half chance volley he missed and Bellamy is better on the wing and drops back to much to play up front

And play an injured player

I'd go for:
Marshall
McNaughton Turner Barnett Taylor

Gunnar Mutch
Noone Bellamy
Kimbo

Rudy

Two solid players holding, two quick wingers who can deliver balls into the box for the big man to get his head onto and Kimbo at the tip of the diamond pulling strings. Won't be Malky's team but it's the one I would like to see.

Not a chance in hell of Campbell playing Saturday i'm afraid. My uncle spoke to him and Hudson directly at halftime Tuesday, and I quote Campbell's reply was ' Another 2 weeks mate.'

He wouldn't say anything like that to anyone outside of the club the players are strictly not allowed to do it.

I can assure you he did. We speak regulary to the non squad players every game as they are with their partners and children behind us in the upper disabled section. Time will tell during the next two weeks.
