Personally I feel goal-line technology isn't needed, it'll turn football into a slowed down sport, boring. Just like rugby

Imagine how cringey it would be, looking up to the stands finding if they scored. Takes more out of football, the same people against modern football are probably wanting this introduced?

With any luck we'll be one of the first 20 clubs to install it!

That isnt how the system works. As soon as the whole ball crosses the line a signal is sent to the ref within 1 second. He can then give or disallow the goal in the same amount of time it would usually take. The crowd wont see any difference at all.

I honestly can't think the last time it would've been needed in a Swans match? But with so much riding on these decisions something had to done. As I understand it, if the ball crosses the line, the ref and assistants get a signal? Can't see how it will slow the game down.

Yea I think they have something like a watch, and it tells them goal within seconds.

Bothroyd luckily had his awarded vs Reading one season... it was over the line though.
