If/When we get promoted and IF we managed to stay up how long do you think fans would accept fighting a relegation battle season after season before they stopped turning up or jumping on the clubs back?

I watched the QPR v Wigan game and after Wigan equalised just before the end of the game. When the final whistle went all the QPR fans booed and I thought Cardiff fans wouldn't do that, but would we?
For me as long as we are up there I would be happy to accept it for 20 years, but what are your opinions?
