Watford haven't won more than 3 games on the trot this year. In their best spell all season they did manage to secure 13 points in 5 games. If we assume they equal their best spell that means we need another 4 points. Now you don't know how well we're going to play so let's assume we hit our worst form over five games which is 5 points.

There you have it if we hit our worst form and they hit their best we will beat them by a point. The question is do we look like hitting our worst form. I would say not, I think we will get at least 9 points which means Hull have to get at least 16 which they cannot get. If Hull play to their best and score 13 and we play to our worst and score 5 they will beat us by 2 points.

It's all ifs and buts but if we just play reasonable football and score at least 7 more points we will be ok. It puts it in perspective how valuable those 2 points we lost against Barnsley would have been though. They would of almost put the title beyond doubt for me. I would be surprised if we still don't win the title and mortified if we hit the playoffs. It ain't going to happen though.
