What lucky breaks have you had in your lifetime..?

The most with me was when I went over to Australia. The only work experience I ever had was working in a shitty factory in Merthyr but when I seen a job advert for a bank worker in an Australia Bank I thought I'd give it ago. The fact that I was even asked for an interview was an achievement on its own but when I attended the interview in Sydney the boss of the branch said to me 'So, you are from Merthyr then are you..?' I replied 'Yes' then he responded 'The reason I asked was because I was in Merthyr last week!!!, yeah I'm atrain spotter and I went to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway!!!' I couldn't believe what I was hearing and the rest of the interview was just talking about Merthyr. Hence I got the job and it was really my first break in being a white collar worker with the rest being history.

F@ck all lucky breaks. Anything good has been down to hard work. Life is shit and anyone who says/thinks otherwise is lying/naive!

I am a believer that everyone gets a lucky break in their lives but you have to capitalise on it.
