I've been out and about today around Cardiff.
Sounds silly but it's an amazing city. I Fuckin love the place.
You genuinely can see why it's the Capital and a very popular destination for tourism.
We have everything except a nice beach.

Thats all :?

Don't get me wrong, Its good to have the new devs like John Lewis and St Davids 2 but its the independent shops, cafes etc is what makes a place. The chains could be anytown and dont do it for me. I lived and worked in central London for 15 years before moving back and as much as I still love London, I can honestly say that Cardiff is right up there as a really nice city and its not too big either. Certainly deservedly of a PL club too. Wales Capital And Capital Of Sport. As your on retail duty in town, we expect some artful photos of local gals on 'The Thread' later. :malky:

Do miss a lot of the old Cardiff though, the city has progressed really well, a lot of tourism now, home to a lot of well known BBC shows. I just miss the ice rink being in the heart of town, Splott Market actually being packed every Sunday. :ayatollah:
