His loan runs out after the Forest game.
Any idea whether the club are trying to get the loan extended? Getting very close to the end of the loan period and no indication that it will be extended. Why are we waiting until the last minute? Surely steps should have been taken as soon as it was known that Hudson was out for the season to make sure that Leon's loan was immediately extended to the end of the season?
Come on Cardiff - get it sorted. If Leon goes back we'll probably need to play Ben Nugent for the last few games and it really is unfair to put that much pressure on a young man in his first season in the first team.

Has to happen. Malkay says he is in touch with Norwich constantly suggesting they are not so keen which is a worry although possibly negotiations over a permanent deal might be reason

Mackay also revealed that he is hopeful of extending the stay of Norwich City defender Leon Barnett, who is due to play his last Cardiff game against Forest before his month-long loan deal expires.
Barnett has impressed in a central role since arriving as emergency cover for Bluebirds captain Mark Hudson, ruled out for the rest of the season by an ankle injury.
Keeping Barnett until the end of the season has become even more of a priority as fellow defender Matthew Connolly is still an injury doubt, as is striker Fraizer Campbell.
Both players sat out the draw with Barnsley and will be assessed ahead of the Forest game.

McNaughton looks a doubt after the way he was hobbling around in added on time yesterday as well!

I like Barnett he's good, a player of his quality is 2nd choice for premier league level though just bare that in mind. It shows how much money needs to be spent if we do go up and everybody or most people knows it.

Your wrong spending loads of money will not keep you up. Look where QPR are and look at norwitch.
It isn't about spending money you have to get the right players who are going to try there hardest and scrap and not aload of lazy mugs on 90k a week who don't care.
