Lets be honest we had enough chances last night to kill off Barnsley well before the end, however "Injury Time " is a farce.
Where on the earth did the 4th official dig 5 mins from in the first place ? Then a "minimum"of 5 mins means just that. You may expect it to go on slightly but not by 2 minutes. 7 Minutes of injury time?
Super Kev went down in injury time and there could not have been more than 30 secs involved so where did the other minute and a half come from?
Like some other sports why isn't football transparent ? Other sports use clocks to manage time to see exactly what time is left to be played and it is managed correctly. In football, baically the 4th official and referee can pick a time whenever they want to finish a game and hence the many previous constroversies.
Last nights ref said that there was 4 seconds left when Barnsley scored. How can he say that ? he could have played on for another 5 minutes if he wnated. What is stopping him? It is an absolute mockery. It probably does go around in circles win some, lose some but its a mockery. You might as well pluck a finish time out of thin air. Why not be more transparent and show the players, managers and paying customers exactly how much time is left. Perhaps this will stop the questionable goals that occur in unmanaged time. It could be the difference between promotion, relegation and money.

Was it a farce when Rudy scored in injury time vs Leicester to all but kill their hopes?

There were 6 substitutions. That's 3 minutes of stoppage time on its own. There was an injury to Ben Turner in the second half - anther minute. We also scored a goal, that's another 30 seconds minimum added for the delay caused by goal celebrations etc. So adding on 5 minutes was not unreasonable after allowing for delays caused by bookings etc. Kevin's injury was at least a further minute and the ref made it clear he was adding time on when we took an age to take that corner in extra time. Not the ref's fault. Blame the players and management for not seeing the game out to the final whistle.

I agree. But if that is the case he should have added a minute for their goal celebrations don't you think? But he added nothing so he was in the wrong there.

Stop blaming the ref we should have enough about us to beat the worst side, bar Bristol City, to come to the CCS all season.
