We beat the crap out of them for eighty minutes, then run out of ideas.

I thought we were fantastic until we scored. Then unfortunately, Malky chose to sub Kim and replace him with Whitts. Now considering the magnificent Jordon Mutch had run himself into the ground and was exhausted and Gunnarsson was already booked, surely Malky would have realised putting Whitts on would be a bit of an idiotic move?

If anyone should have gone on, it should have been Cowie, who would have had the engine to cover the ground, hustle Barnsley, get a foot in and use his experience to take the sting out of the game. Would Barnsley have been able to get their shot away leading to their goal if a midfield dog with an engine like Cowie was put on instead of Whittingham? Probably not. Barnsley certainly wouldn't have been able to hit us with wave upon wave of attack anyway!

Also, for those of you blaming Helguson for his miss, he charged through 2 brick wall ariel challenges to get into that position in the first place, so lay off him!

If MM is to blame when it goes wrong he must be praised when its right and we are 6 points clear of 2nd so he must get more right than wrong. No manager is perfect.

Also, Kim is a player full of energy with inventive guile and creativity. So replacing him with Whittingham, a player who sits in front of the back 4 isn't really like for like is it as they are completely different players.

Polo like me was a DJ fan, so in my opinion has gone OTT in the opposite direction with MM.
Malky has flaws, maybe the teams performances being the main but it's got results?
Yes he had had money but so had many a manager in this league.

I like DJ but he always lacked something at the final stage although the football was better.
MM may lack something but he will take us up and I hope learn from it.

Well I've slept on it and this morning I feel absolutely the same and although I've no doubt we will get promoted I've had enough of football that lacks amibition, lacks invention and lacks fluidity.


MM talks about the team having a monotonous consistency well I've come to think of the team as being consistenly monotonous.

So that's it for me and after 47 years of watching the Bluebirds, mostly through thin times, at the moment and on the cusp of promotion to the top tier I can't be bothered. Exhaustipated by the boring, uninventive monotonous negative approach of our manager.
