We'll get stuffed every game the way we play if and when we make the premiership. We score 1 goal then sit back inviting teams to attack us.
Malky sort it out!

Out of a job by July hopefully.

We can't finish games off and we have been highly lucky in many games we have played this season. My apologies Malky but you are not the man for the job.

Hahahahahahahaha are you taking the piss!!!!

Did you watch the game? How the hell is the man going to get points in the Prem if his go to tactic at 1-0 at home against a team 19 places below you is to play a flat back 9 and Helgusson up front? Inept aint the f*cking word.

For what job? The job Vincent asked him to do which was to get us up? I'm 99.99999999999% sure he was the man for that job.
Whether he will be the man to keep us up.....well that is up for debate.
The fact when we have been poor coincidentally the chasing pack have been poor too. Call it luck, fortune, playing in red....whatever....the fact of the matter is Malky is taking us into the Premier League, and that you cannot argue.

Now is not the time to start talking about changing the manager. Let's see how the season ends up.

How can you think ahead so far to christmas when he has not even played a game in the prem? Nobody can know what's going to happen really?
Hardly an inept performance? He fielded 11 players, they earned a draw through a last minute goal from opposition. Losing might be inept? Losing badly probably would be?
He will have earned his chance to play his team in that league and he shall get his shot. Hopefully he will do well...If not then yeah maybe come back at xmas and can say how right you were on the messageboard. Will gladly give you tinternet props then!

I CAN SEE THAT HAPPENING UNLESS WE ARE FLYING IN THE PREM---TAN WONT ACCEPT DEFEAT-- LOOK AT THE WAY FOREIGN OWNERS HAVE TREATED NIGEL ADKINS AND MCDERMOTT, NO LOYALTY----ITS ALL ABOUT THE MOMEY, MONEY, MONEY

We concede late in one game and all of a sudden we will get turned over in the premier league.
We are top of the championship being one of the highest scorers as well as boasting one of the best defences in the division. Malky has done a tremendous job this season.
You lot wouldnt be able to walk a day in Malkys shoes.

Why are a lot of our fans simple minded wankers.
If we get promoted I hope they realise 17th will be a huge achievement

I refuse to believe that any Cardiff fan would not want Malky at the helm. He's done an absolute top class job thus far.
anyone who says otherwise is purely on a wind up or a jack in disguise (although even they wouldn't strech their imagination to that).
take no notice, its designed to cause a reaction and is not their true feelings.

So because you rate him everyonelse must?
We are all allowed our opinions, well apparently.
No wind-up, ive made my feelings quite clear on his brand of football. Good manager of people and media but there is no way this style of football will be effective at the next level, its barely been effective the last 10 matches at this level.
Should we "Do a Southampton" next season and upgrade him for a more progressive manager then I wont be bothered.
Better players will be brought in for the next level, why not a better manager?

I can't tell if topics like this are satire or not, because I can't fathom how people can be so stupid.
The bloke has got us to the top of the league. He's not even managed a game in the Prem, yet somehow a few 'supporters' have already come to the conclusion he's not good enough. It's baffling
These are the same people who were saying Malky couldn't take us up this season no doubt. You're shortly going to be proved wrong, so why can't you learn from your mistakes and not speak to soon in future?

I respect your opinion. It does seem outlandish though to call for a manager's head who has kept us at the top virtually all season. He's a young manager who's constantly learning. He's not thick, he'll spend in the summer & bring in players who he feels are more suited to the premier league. He's made the best of what he's got these past two seasons and i'm sure he'll continue with that should we get to the premier league.

A couple of important points you are missing mate.
Southamption didn't bring in a new manager at the start of the season. They gave him over half the season before deciding they could do better. To begin talking about replacing Malky based on his Premiership performance when we haven't even played a game in the Prem yet is ridiculous. Saying it's premature is an understatement.
Secondly, which 'better manager' would we hire? the majority of good managers who are proven at Premiership level already have secure jobs at better clubs than us. Anyone we could realistically hire wouldn't be much better than Malky, if better at all. That's the key thing fans can't seem to get in their head.

1) Stoke pretty much use that method
2) We can't sign players who can do a job in the Prem whilst we are in the Championship
3) The money we get from promotion will mean we can sign and attract better players to suit Malky's style
4) What method did Chelsea use in the Champions League to beat Barcelona?
Its a proven method and obviously the players we have now aren't going to be sufficient if we go up. Obviously Malky knows that as does Tan hence why he's already stated funds will be available. Thats the whole point of a transfer window, to strengthen. Do you think Malky is going to be playing Helguson in the Premier League as a starting striker? There's a reason QPR deemed him surplus to requirements.

Where did I say a different manager had to be Premiership proven?
I said a more progressive manager and by that I mean someone whos footballing philosophy isnt hoof it up to a lone striker, get a set piece, take the lead and defend a 1-0. Its just about been effective for parts of this season but do you seriously think that will work at PL level?
No one had heard of the guy at Southampton but hes flying having smashed City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
I dont see many Saints fans still crying over Nigel Adkins now.

Of course people had heard of Pochettino, just because you hadn't it doesn't mean no one had.
It's all well and good using him as an example, but lets be honest, he's an exception rather than a rule. If we could get someone as good as him I'd say goodbye to Malky and accept the decision in a heartbeat. But the fact is really good managers aren't easy to come by. You have to accept that it's a gamble, and we could very easily end up with someone a lot worse than Malky.

Think he's a bottom half Premiership manager with a good eye for the future of clubs but doesn't think about the short term etc, sort of backtracks on his comments a lot. He's done a good job here, providing we get promoted but if we want to progress we may have to find a new manager, I'd love to go the Southampton route
