BIG MISTAKE MALKY

Tue Apr 09, 2013 9:33 pm

With all the really quality crosses going across tonight, he leaves Rudy on the bench and brings on Helguson, I thought that was a really silly choice to make. Do anyone think so too ?

BOLLOX!

He did the right thing, Helguson won everything when he came on but the lazy tossers behind him were too deep and they paid the price!

100% Agreed.

Helguson was absolutely brilliant when he came on apart from the two sitters. And Rudy would have fallen over before he got into either of Heidar's positions.

Totally agree rudy should have come on. Should never had helguson upfront on his own

Whitts didnt seem to have must interest in the game, I think he is pissed off at the game time Kimbo is being given.
That sub of Kimbo/Whitts definately cost us a win.

MM Must do better than that.

That is the way I see it as well.
Kimbo man of match but taken off. Perkins (short blonde ) for them was excellent. Out jumped Mutch ffs.

Should have brought Noone on for Smith to keep them on the back foot. Cowie is a better sub late in the game (than a starter for me) as he gets amongst their midfield and stops them playing.

Should have started with either of them.

I just thought that with the quality of the balls going across there goals, Rudy would have been in 7th heaven.

Shit happens occasionally and it was just 'one of those nights' and referee not to blame either, as he added time for Super Kev's injury ;)

Biggest 'tossers' on the night were all sat in the Family Stand for PART of the game as usual and probably went home telling everyone we won 1-0

I am pretty vocal in my condemnation of the 'early leavers' at the best of times but last night (with so much at stake) just about took the biscuit :(

Very few REAL excuses, people and personally I'd take away your season tickets and give them to fans with staying power

Just to clarify to those (in all areas) that stayed to the end. I salute you :notworthy: :notworthy:

Well Rudy is a lot better and gets up higher ,and Helguson missed a real sitter, and Helguson is not that good at holding the ball up

Pfft. Helguson's hold up play is a million times better than Rudy's and he times his jumps far better.

The only thing that Rudy has is his height but that doesn't help a bit when he stoops when he jumps.

Right, let's get one thing straight from the off. YOU are the 'dickhead' and 'pathetic mug' for coming back at me stating that it is OK to leave early at such a crucial time of the season and when the team need your backing BECAUSE IT SIMPLY IS NOT!

If people want to leave early (and therefore miss important parts of the game) it may well be 'their right' but it is not condusive to being a good supporter and it makes others (including me) wonder why they (maybe you) bother coming in the first place

To be honest (and I rarely swear on here) it's fecking pathetic and I think you are embarrassed yourself deep down :(

Fair enough - everyone is entitled to opinions. Feel you are totally wrong though.

Those who leave to avoid the traffic do my nut in though - but to pick on the family stand, on a Tuesday school night, for leaving a little early is wrong to me. :ayatollah:

I actually agree with most of what you say but on Tuesday the team looked shattered for the last 10 minutes or so (Super Kev was injured and even Bellamy resorted to kicking the ball aimlessly upfield) and I just wonder what possesses a so-called 'fan' to walk out on the team (and the result) before the end :?

If it was 'to beat the traffic' then I genuinely wonder why they come on a school day anyway. What is the point? :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Also as you say FAMILY stand ! a lot of them have kids 6 & 7 years of age, they have school the next day so by the time they get home its very late for the kids then the parents have to try to get them to bed and asleep. If they do stay to the very end in some cases they may not get out of the car park for 1/2 an hour or more, then the traffic out side and drive home. I think you should shut your mouth .

Confused by this comment.

You are saying you are annoyed by people leaving early when the team need support at this crucial time of the season, yet you then say if they are not going to stay for the whole match, don't come at all? Is their support for 80 odd mins not better than no support at all?

Do you honestly think that the goal would not of been conceded if the stadium was full? Because everyone in the ground was shouting for the team to push up and not one f*cking player listened

I don't see you having a pop at all the people that leave early at the end of the first half to get a pint etc when it is 0-0 and we are on top and really need a goal. Plus you should take a look behind you and not just at the family stand as there were plenty of empty seats there as well.

The family stand on this occasion is an easy target.

And yes I am in there and stay until the end' OF BOTH HALVES :ayatollah:

Re: BIG MISTAKE MALKY

Rudy wouldn't have made an impact, we weren't even playing that badly. Helguson did great when he came on, shame he couldn't finish them off with that one on one. Rudy is only the answer if we're struggling, which we weren't. At the end of the day we were very unlucky to only draw.

I disagree with anyone from any stand who leaves early without a genuine excuse (i.e. shift worker, etc) as it says to me that person is not committed to the cause. How can they be when they can't stay to the end where (like Tuesday) the whole result spins on a single kick in the last munute? And I simply question what is the worth of dragging the kids to a football match they will never see the end of? :? :?

What kind of example does that post them for the future? Shall we all walk out every time we go 1-0 down in any game? Or might it just be conceivable that peope stay until the end to support the team? ;)

You say 'the fans' won't get City promoted but you are so wrong, as 'the fans' can play a big part in the psyche of the players when they sing their hearts out and cheer them on rather than walking out because they can gain a march on those fans that do stay :(

Yes, I know all that mate and I really do understand the value of having your kids in bed at a sensible hour on a school night but can anyone tell me what is the point in taking them to a match in the first place IF you know you are going to take them home early? :?

To me, it's a bit like going to the cinema and leaving before the end, i.e. you miss the climax to the film and have no idea what happened in the end. What is the point in that? :?:

Surely that's a reasonabe question? :ayatollah:

most of them are there for around 75/80mins . Just look after your own house and let other people take care of there own.
Also as for going to the movies most family's go on the weekends not on school days. Its got fk all to do with you what people do & when or where they do it, so till peoples actions affect you personally, go tell it walking .
