Barnsley offered nothing and had nothing to offer until malkys substitutions brought them into the game. Helguson instead of rudy was a shocking decision it left us with no pace up front and allowed them to push forward. I thought to myself maybe noone can come on and give us an out ball because Craig was obviously knackered but no bring on his Watford boy Conway instead.
Lets hope Campbell's back Saturday and we can approach the game like we did Blackburn

Smith was appalling when he came on against Watford so I was surprised that he started tonight. He plays Conway to protect Taylor as Conway always tracks back. Mutch hasent played much because of injury but he is a youngster with a bright future whereas the others are approaching or are past their sell by dates

i acknowledge the bollock dropped mate i was just pissed off last night that we had the pacy options of rudy and noone on the bench to keep barnsley honest at the back and he went ultra defensive again.
when fraziers fit rudy is on the bench so how heidar jumped to the top of the list is beyond me. if we had carried on playing as we did in the first half and against blackburn we would have won easily.

No wonder I have so many arguments on here. Some dont know anything. Some think Conway was signed from Dundee, others think Watford. Oh dear.

helguson and smith as oppossed to rudy and noone last night.
cowie has played many times more than kimbo this year who would you prefer in the team.

depends who we're playing blackburn away it was cowie who had fantastic game probably motm

Cowie should have come on in midfield (maybe, for a tiring Mutch) to break up the Barnsley midfield, and Noone (for pace) to replace Smith.
We will never know, but I believe we would have won then, maybe with an extra goal.
