I have to agree with Polo and i dont very often do regarding Malky, I dont blame the Ref, he gave 5 mins of injury time, but we did not restart till 20 seconds had gone after Kevin McNaughton got back up, so they scored 5 mins exactly, then the ref blew the whistle after the game resumed at 1-1.

Barnsley were crap end off. We scored and went deep and sat back and a team like ours top of the League should of slaughtered Barnsley they were there for the taking.

We did the same against Coventry last season when they got a goal in the 96th minute. Lost two points that night and ended up playing West Ham in the playoff semi final.

Malky's mistakes tonight:-

1.Sitting back and defending from the moment we scored.
2.Defending way too deeply and giving a very poor Barnsley side the hope of an equaliser.
3.Replacing a superb Kim with an ineffective and out of form Whittingham.
4.Persisiting with Tommy Smith who should have been replaced by Noone.
5. Bringing on Helgusson.

Yes he's a young manager learning his trade but still making too many costly mistakes at the wrong time of the season.

You serious? mason offered us nothing all game, atleast when helguson came on he caused a bit of havok in there defence, and won almost ever header. And i think kimbo did start to look tired towards the end, which is why he may of taken him off

Mason offered nothing cause they were lumping it up to him he aint that kind of player. Should have left him on and gone 4-4-2

I would have kept Kim on, Mason will score goals given the right service. Having said that, your mate Rudy might have been more effective that Helguson tonight, especially from the crosses that Helguson headed wide.

I agree with that, & hindsight being a wonderful thing, but i had a feeling before tonight's game that it would be a draw, with Campbell not playing & all. I fear the same next Saturday if he's still not fit.
