I admire your optimism. Yes its a great situation but it was 10 seconds away from the greatest situation of virtual certain promotion. Rant over were still almost there we've just got to pick ourselves up and go again.

I was wondering how that late, late goal is going to affect our chances of winning the Championship? Obviously we now have a 6 point advantage instead of an 8 point advantage over Hull. If it comes down to the last game against Hull I really hope that 2 points doesn't matter.Sorry if im sounding negative but im sure its going through peoples minds.

On a positive note 6 points is still a sizeable advantage going into the last 5 games and we must use it to beat Hull before we face them away.We were far the better team tonight just really unlucky.We have had lots of luck this season so maybe a bad bit was due that's how im going to look at it. Im confident we will secure promotion but slightly less about the championship after that nasty bump in the road today but still pretty confident. Its gone from a forgone conclusion to a strong possibility for me that's the difference that 2 points makes.

We cant grumble with our situation though.We may have to suffer a little bit more after tonight but were Bluebirds so who better qualified to do that.

As much as I'd love us the win the league, I'm not gonna even think about that until the more important job is done, as soon as promotion is secured (I hope it will be) I'm confident the players will relax and win all remaining games to secure the title.
