Why aren't Muslim extremists charged with treason?

Why doesn't Queen Elizabeth charge them with treason for their actions and send out a message by beheading them? Surely, a threat to our nation in any way, shape or form is a threat to the throne and royal family.

Your initial post was just laughable and that's probably why that was his opening line. You complain about the actions of extremists and you want to reply by getting the queen (who symbolically spearheads our country and , the commonwealth) to behead them. For a start, not all extremists are violent so there is no argument for "an eye for an eye". Secondly, as Jonny mentioned, there are out and out British Muslims, who, just because they are Muslims are labelled as extremists and this often then leads onto labels such as "Immigrants". They are then in turn criminalized when they have done nothing wrong but flee from a country which is often dangerous in order to better their lives.I work with refugees and they are not criminals and although many are Muslim, they are not extremists.

Jonny has said hes served in a conflict zone in Iraq. Having seen what he's seen, to come back and still be reasonably level headed about the way this country treats individuals who are labelled 'just as bad' as those who quite possibly tried to kill him abroad, is a credit to him.

i think nonces will always get softer punishment than 98% of us think they should get as a % of the people that run the country are bent themselves..obviously this is my opinion and i offer nothing to back it up..but i do believe that people in power judges etc are involved at some level and i think a lot would agree with that..and that is why these laws will never change.
