Then a City fan put it to bed with this

"We needed a point and got it, I would say Malky got the tactics spot on. Defensively solid against the leagues top scorers and with a fantastic team work ethic. We were missing both our main strikers (Campbell and Maynard) so it was always going to be a more defensive set up. Last game was home to Blackburn - we won 3-0, had 24 shots at goal, of which 15 were on target so we do not always play defensively.

The point gained today was worth 3 points - before the game we needed 11 points to guarantee promotion, now its only 8 points, job done!"

End of discussion. :ayatollah:

Jealousy is such a weak mindset. The table never lies. Our time now. Dribblers.

Our current team reminds me a lot of warnocks QPR when they went up. Solid but unspectacular but gets the job done.

We have played good football before and ended up no where. Would any of those clubs champ clubs moaning swap with us? I think so

It's becoming tiring reading about how the game should be played.

Should we be playing tippy tappy football and playing across the back four constantly? It's that style of football that made me give up International football years ago.

Our football was excellent for most of the first half against Watford. I can appreciate good defensive football as much as creative/dogged midfield play along with attacking football. It's called tactics........ you can't be one dimensional......something that has caught out swansea town over the last month or so and they will be found out next season. Look what happened to Newcastle this season as opposed to last season.

MM and his staff are clued in and will adapt again in the summer........ the analysts are spoofers. Players who couldn't get into management or coaching.
