Campbell ruled out for Barnsley.

Who would you play? Gestede? Mason?

Looks likely to return against Forest. :ayatollah:
Also Nottingham Forest sold their full allocation out for Saturdays game.
Crowd expected over 25,000. :ayatollah:

On his own? Wouldn't work

Same if play Helgusson with Bellamy in 4-4-2

Barnsley beat Watford by being tougher than them so I'd play the toughest available.

Conway, Mutch and Gunnar would be adequate in midfield HH and Bellamy the same and our back four is good enough.

Kimbo in an advanced role he looks something special playing his preferred free forward role :ayatollah:
Barnsley are slow at the back so pace with good passing is needed in this one not a big c/f :ayatollah:
Bring whitts back in 4-2-3-1 and pass them to death :ayatollah:
Mason will score a shitload with them 3 behind him

Mcnaughton----Barnett------turner------ Taylor

----gunnarsson-----mutch----

--------Bellamy----kimbo-----Whittingham----

---------------------Mason----------------------

Why wouldnt it work ? Bellers played for man city upfront on his own in the manchester derby and gave utds defence a torrid time

TEAM NEWS

Championship leaders Cardiff City will be without striker Fraizer Campbell for Tuesday's visit of Barnsley.

The six-goal striker is struggling with a shin problem, while Matt Connolly is a major doubt after limping off early in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Watford with a groin injury.

Barnsley are hopeful Kelvin Etuhu will be fit, having picked up a knock in the goalless draw at Crystal Palace.

Defender Martin Cranie could return from a hamstring injury.

Gestede shouldn't play up top on his own.
