Gunnar to be rested next ??

I hope Malky keeps with the 433 and lets Whitts have a crack without the shackles.
The players (and us) have to start to get used to some form of rotation as the burnt out of Whitts is a prime example of what happen if we don't. Even Robin van Persie is looking jaded and he has played less games than Whitts in the last 2 seasons.
I suggest gunnar take a rest and start with Mutch,Kimbo and Whitts (don't make him captain)

Personally i thought Gunnar was man of the match yesterday, absolute warrior

I'd start Whitts instead of Mutch on Tuesday, 3 games in 8 days might be a bit too much for Mutch considering the game time he hasn't had. Let Whitts play in Mutch's role

Trouble is Whitts could never play Mutch's role as he doesn't have Mutch's engine, drive, work ethic, stature or defensive qualities. Our midfield trio have been fantastic the last two games, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I would stick with the same trio and only change it about if anyones performances starts dipping. Rotating for the sake of it when players are playing well is unnecessary and unsettles the team.

Gunnar has been superb of late and cannot be left out

Too risky, Gunnarson is a key player now.

Cowie in for Mutch. Same engine and balances the side well.
Tommy Smith as far away from the side as possible.
