To be fair, never bought the bottles tag.
08 - Pompey used fictional money to win an FA Cup, wow good for them.
09 - fairs fair, Dave Jones cocked up going for auto when play-offs weren't safe.
10 - played a team that did the double over Newcastle and lost our best payer 1/4 of the way into the match.
11 - Jones wasn't able too, or didn't want more depth in the squad, too much Bellamy pressure.
12 - look at he much Liverpool cost vs how much Cariff did, then lost to the pay-off winners.
Only 09 and 11 are anything close to "bottling it" and nothing under Malky looks that way.
Battling sums us up quite well though. I think Malky prefers better standard of football (think Reading on NYD) but this league he felt he'd be more effective this way. Quicker.
