" Watford Stick or twist???? "

Stick or Twist!

Massive game for both teams tomorrow could be the defining moment in Watford Season whether they finish in an automatic position or play off spot? As for us it could cement both an automatic spot earlier and put us in a strong position to win the championship? Although games are running out fast for the chasing pack whilst it is still mathematically possible we could get caught I would rather not get too carried away.

So what does malky do? Does he carry on where he left off Monday with those inspirational changes he made? In particular to the midfield where there was an energy and Zest we have not seen for a couple of months. Players pressing the ball high up the pitch and not allowing the opposition to come out of their half. Let’s not get too carried away as it was against an ageing midfield, but they did also have Leon Best and Kazzem Richards on the field with Jordan Rhodes coming on later so all in all still a good effort. Or does he refer back to setting the team up not to lose and try and catch them on the break?

Either way I believe Kimbo should play however with a doubt over Campbell fitness which way should we play the game all out attack, or a more defensive game? Both ways Malky and the players have proved they could play either?

Personally I think Watford will be there for the taking if we go for the Jugular. They are in a no win situation the pressure will be fully on them no matter what Hull do against Middlesboro! If they win Watford have to win, If Middlesboro win or draw Watford have a chance to go second so huge pressure on them to win. Watford start off like a train generally at Home although there stats show most of their goals scored come after the half time break which is also there conceding at home which says to me they get tired. Away from home we do score a lot of goals fairly late just when Watford are at there most vulnerable.

I believe if malky sets the team to go for it first half it will knock the stuffing out of them if we get some early goals. They have lost 6 home games this season compared to our 2 and we have won 10 times on the road. Many teams sit back away from home early on especially against a good footballing side like Watford who have quality all over the pitch, but with so many loan signings they won’t be up for a 90 minute scrap as we have found out to our cost in the past!

So if Campbell is not fit 442 with mason and helgarssun, or same as Monday and Play Joe Mason on his own up front with Bellary supporting him? Another option if Noone is fit is to go Noone for an hour out wide with Bellamy up front. My choice is to keep the team that started Monday and Campbell if fit.

So go for it Malky no pressure if it doesn’t come off we have three home games to put it right. I believe we can get a positive result tomorrow Bluebirds!!!

442 would be a huge mistake IMO. Same team for me or simply swap Campbell with mason or helguson. I reckon though he will play whits, push Kim wide and put bellers up front

Stick ! A point against Watford would be massive. Watford and Hull both need to more or less win all of their games to catch us and overtake us if at all. If Watford do not get the 3 against us then it leaves them with only 5 games to play. Another game chalked off. The chances of two teams doing that with the pressure on is slim.

The positive is that having to play both Hull and Watford albeit away games the outcome is in our hands. In our current position a point against Watford would be the equivalent of a win. If we do win all the better. :ayatollah: :malky:

4-5-1. Even a draw tomorrow is a massive result.

4-5-1 Bellers up front and defending up front. That should do it.

Its big stack against small stack, draw is good enough and damages watford as its another game less to close the gap, so with us holding all the chips and watford small stacking id say stick :malky:

442 with mason starting. Unless Campbell injury is a trick!
I hope we score first cos they are very likely to score at least once. A defeat won't be terminal tomorrow but my ticker could do without it.

I'd stick!, we were quality against Blackburn, and 3-0 flattered them really. Hopefully Bellamy will be good to play, so I'd have him up front, and bring back Noone and have him on the wing and Bellamy up front ...

4-5-1 for me, bellers up front, only way to defend, is attack

Never change a winning team is my philosphy on football manager

In this case with Campbell looking to be out, straight swap or mason.

1-2 I think, but ill take a draw.

Bellamy and Kimbo with the goals.

Sit back against watford and they will punish any one.

You have to attack them and press. Exactly like Blackburn.
We dropped off for 10 mins against blackburn and chased shadows and heads dropped with passes going astray - so glad kimbo was there to tidy up and get control back.
Watford play a format which can expose teams- and have loaned in premier ish players who can do things individually, so we want to keep them defending in their half, not picking spots in ours.

If our defenders start dropping deep -they will piss right through them.
our weakness could be our full backs today - they arent natural up and down the wing boys so our two wingers have a massive job today.

come on Bluebirds - kick on and kick ass

Hope we don't set up like we did against Posh, inviting their strikers on to us. Gayle had a field day, finding space and winning countless free kicks. Don't forget Vydra is a better and more accomplished player.
