why in MY opinion there won't ever be a compromise

Thu Apr 04, 2013 10:03 pm

my opinion so don't go off on one if you don't agree.
(sorry if i dont know all the facts, just going on what i know/seen)
there isn't going to be a kit compromise because;

-tan has invested too much money to admit he's wrong
-tan's investment has paid off big time (why change something that is working/dont fix what isnt broken)
-every man and his dog promised not to renew or stop attending games - we sold thousands of season tickets and continue to put money in tans pocket
-he loves red and it has actually brought us good luck (we have stormed the league) so why would he change it.

i could go on but its known. there wont be a kit compromise, i know we can all dream of a return to blue but we will all have to wait a good few years

I said from the start that he isn't going to budge. He didn't think this up on a whim he believes in this. Alan Whiteley did some good work and probably paid with his job to get the bluebird back on the badge.

But that good work was squandered by e-petitions and marching. Fine do it, but don't kid yourself it was ever going to make a difference. A mass boycott was never going to work because clearly not enough people cared.

What should have been done is the Trust should have lobbied for clearer understanding between the club and it's fans and a say/heads up/dialogue about what's happening in the future.

Take, for example the seats. Everyone's moaning about them turning red. Those seats turn red, it's another nail in the coffin for blue. But what if the Trust had lobbied for black seats. Explained to Tan that it it the clubs second colour, it has Welsh routes as the flag of St. David is black. But would have meant in the years to come it'd be easier to transition back to blue with black seats. Everyone wins.

I'll shorten that for you.

"It wont change cos tan dont want it to"

This about sums it up.

Cant fault people for having a go, and wont belittle people trying but i dont think anything is going to work and nothing will ever change. There will be no step backwards from tan as it makes him look weak, he will continue however he sees fit as he knows he will always have a majority backing (only a small number are vocal rest fall in line)

Its done, dusted, finito.

Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance...I'd say a lot of people are at the bargaining stage.

Im just depressed and want blue :(

Us playing in RED has nothing to do with us going up, we have much better players and better squad quality also no good premier side got relegated last year so we`ve been lucky our year

Where heading for the Premier thats why season tickets are SOLD OUT :malky:
lets just get over the line and then enjoy the party :ayatollah:

If we were staying in the Championship season tickets sales would be maybe only 10k most ?
why
another failed year and the VT changes.
