when the jacks were promoted to the championship there wasnt as much pressure on them as there was on us when we played. next season it will be a complete role reversal. they will be expected to beat us.
am i right in thinking weve never played each other in the top flight, ever??
In the 60s and 70s we usually played them in the Welsh Cup. Our main rivals then were Bristol City, at least in the old division 2. That's the point that I was trying to make, our main rivals change over the years. That is not, usually, the case in two-club cities. They are genuine derbies.

Well your going to be in a very small minority, some derbies are in the same cities but that isn't what classifies a derby.
It makes it more of a fierce derby in many ways that it's a derby across City, there's no middle ground like there is with the likes of Everton-Liverpool and Forest-County.
It is one of the most fierce rivalries in the UK, and the first one in the Premier League will be something special. Everything gets so big when you first get in the Premier League and it will make the derby better, and you are already up.

When you just said the South Wales derby isn't a derby you just added your self to the list of people on this board who know f**k all about football!

Forest v County?
Last time I looked Derby and Nottingham were separate places.

That's about it from me, haven't been on here for a while, but your boys seem to have wrapped it up with plenty to spare. The only thing I would like to see is a bit more common sense with the travel arrangements, seems excessive being at the liberty hours before kick off for a one hour trip to your place.
