Read between the lines or (better still) listen to political experts who say North Korea doesn't have the capability to hit the USA, whilst their Army is a few short of a million strong and would undoubtedly cause a bit of 'inconvenience' should a convention battle scenario break out

The North Koreans are currently led by an immature guy who hasn't yet learned 'the rules' when it comes to international muscle flexing and he needs to be careful. There are a number of countries other than the USA that are watching very carefully and would, if provoked, make a pre-emptive strike with no concern for the outcome in North Korea itself

I believe the USA would assist in non-comabatant ways if it was an EU country which was attacked and there would be an EU alliance quickly drawn up to show solidarity not only for the benefit of the North Koreans but also for the Russians (who have a vested military business interest in North Korea)

There is one non-EU country that wants to flex its substantial military muscle (Israel) and they would have the backing of the USA (whether it was ever madeofficial or not)

Let's hope it doesn't come to that, eh?

Air strikes wont be sufficient enough to take out North Korea's nuclear program and a land invasion is not going to happen with China so close.

Its all just more talk and provocation. If the USA do get drawn into it like idiots then they only have themselves to blame when thousands die near Pyongyang. There is not a chance in hell China are going to let the USA place an army anywhere near its border which is what it will be doing if they try and land near or attack Pyongyang.

This is just yet another new leader mouthing off which always happens whenever they get one. These threats are nothing new. Its been going on for 60 years. Its the big I am speech to announce himself on the international stage and make himself recognised. The Senate and British Government should be well aware of this and if they do attack they only have themselves to blame from not learning from historical episodes. A bully throwing his toys out of the pram to get sanctions on the country he rules softened. The best thing to do is ignore them.

Very real threat of war here but there are many are like orcs, high in numbers with shit equipment. They got a few nukes but nowhere near the range required to get to the USA. They will not bomb Japan or South Korea with a nuke as it's right on there doorstep.

Lets hope the Russians and the Chinese chime in on our side and lets hope it doesn't kick off in the middle east because Israel as we know are political loose cannons.

Roughly 239 nuclear warheads and we have new ships (about 5 in service and 4 being built), called Type 45 Destroyers which can hit multiple targets (normally aircraft but can hit missiles) simultaneously

To reply to previous posts, Im pretty sure North Korea are still testing they nukes, so they can't do much with them. Their longest missile range is something like 7-9k KM which can hit Hawaii and the western Alaskan coastline but America can easily deal with such threat. As someone previously mentioned 1 or 2 air strikes will diminish North Korea's nuclear capability.

Kim Jon-un is not in charge nor was his father or his grand father. It's the military who rule North Korea.

Fecking Hell. So we are just about to get promoted to the PL and not only is WW3 about to break out but now the Orcs are going to have a go too. I hope Malky has got a Plan C. I'd play Gandalf centre-back, Frodo as sole striker, Sam Gamgee playing behind his shoulder, Aragorn as the midfield general and then that shit-hot arrow-shooting elf guy down the right hand channel.
