It would definitely be a test of our new fans, but I wouldn't judge them too harshly yet.

I think that is pretty fair assumption.
3 seasons back in the Championship and would be back to 13-14,000, what we had pre fa-cup final.

Also apologies if you think this is a bit negative but it is just an honest question.
If we were to be relegated back to the Championship after one season in the Premiership what sort of % of our current fan base would we retain or what sort of crowds do you think we would get if that situation were to arise. Also, do you believe the Club would be right to go ahead with stadium expansion straight away or do you believe they should wait until we are an established Premier League Club?
Obviously there is not a right or wrong answer as it is purely hypothetical but given the nature
of the South Wales sporting public and given the fact that most people would have seen what they wanted
I think we would probably go down to 15,000 crowds tops pretty quickly should we be relegated straight away?
I also think the club should hold off from any stadium expansion until we have been in the Premier League for at least 3 seasons as it would be a disaster for Cardiff to be a Championship club with a 36,000 seater stadium, if that means the ground only holds 27,000 for a few more seasons so be it?
Thoughts?

Of course they have. I know loads down there from Merthyr alone who care more about Liverpool and Man U than they do Cardiff.

80-90% would renew (remembering we have one more season of 'The Ambassador deal' to go) and IMHO we should go for the expansion as soon as it can be done

We have several high profile games next season that would sell the Millenium stadium out and it seems a pity to miss out (a) on the revenue, and (b) the opportunity to get people into the CCS even if thay are there to see the opposition to some degree![]()
Let's be totally honest here. Who ISN'T looking forward to seeing certain teams/players at the CCS?![]()
I know I am, although I will 100% be supporting Cardiff City FC and hoping we batter the opposition whoever they might be![]()

We lost a generation during the dark days, but those of us who have been coming for years started when football at Cardiff was a big thing, and once you get the bug, you stuck with it.
So what ever the outcome, if we go down at least we would have a lot of new bluebirds with the club in their blood, and the circle of life goes on, well that's what they reckon in Lion King anyway, and you don't argue with lions.(well only once at the most)
